The Aries Angels

After several years being known as the Aries Angels, many in the Trop

Rock world and Parrot Head world know who we are. Our mission is to

promote and support Trop Rock music and the independent

singer/songwriters who define this musical genre. We’re not alone. The

body of individuals and groups who support Trop Rock is growing by leaps

and bounds - and we still have a lot of work to do. Hop on the Trop Rock

Where Are We Going From Here?

After many years of hosting house concerts, providing support and marketing materials and finding places for our favorite

singer/songwriters to play, Cheri and I have decided it is time to take things to the next level!  This is kind of exciting and we

are hoping beyond hope that our new venture is successful and allows us to live that adage - “Do what you love and you’ll

never work a day in your life”. We are currently building a nation-wide data base of people willing to host house concerts,

clubs, bars, wineries, etc. who will hire Trop Rock musicians for their entertainment needs and plotting routes that make

sense. It will enable us to plan tours of any length in any part of the country.  If you’re a singer/songwriter of Trop Rock music

and you want to boost your audience and career by traveling, get in touch with either of us.

A New Aries Angel!!!

It’s funny how we meet people and form an instant connection without

knowing why. While in Key West for MOTM in November, Cheri and I

met Karen Colley. You might know her as the artist who paints the

beautiful and totally unique glassware.  We were instant admirers of

her work. We have been showing off the custom margarita glasses

she did for us - even with ‘Aries Angel’ and our names on the base

and we have suggested other designs for her to try. Maybe we

shouldn’t have been surprised - no, we weren’t surprised at all - to

find out she too is an Aries!!

So...we welcome her as our newest Aries Angel. I hope to add a page

to show off her artwork soon.
