We are three friends.  Two of us (Cheri & Karen) live in San Diego, CA, and
the third (Patti) lives inJacksonville, FL.  We were brought together by a
mutual friend, singer/songwriter Gary Seiler, who thought we had a lot of
interests in common.  Cheri & Karen, living only a few miles apart, became
fast friends and began near constant email communications with Patti. 
During one of these conversations, we decided we needed a name so we
brought in Patti’s husband, Gary (not the sameGary).  Oddly enough, we are
all Aries so that was easy.  Angels?  Not really - but we do like to help in a lot
of things where we are able.  Gary volunteered to help us with a logo.  He
started with a traditional angel and went through a number of revisions as we
tried to tie it to our personalities and interests:  the palm frond wings are
because we all love TropRock music; the halo is crooked because we have a
hard time holding it up - those devil horns take over from time to time; the lei
pays homage to our tropical hearts; the margarita - well, that probably doesn’t
need any explanation (though Patti prefers to engage in pina colada
‘research’).

The summer season is here...so what do we have planned?
Our summer house concert season is well underway.  We had a great time a couple of weeks
ago with Brent Burns and then last night with Mark Mulligan and Gary Seiler.  Great show on
Sunday, Jul 18 with Thom Shepherd and the beautiful Megan Linville (you’ve got to hear her
song ‘I Am A Woman’).  What’s next?  Well...

     #  John Reno is scheduled for September 4
     #  Keith Sykes will be here sometime in October
We’d like to do one house concert a month (actually, we’d like to do more, but how often can we
call upon our friends to dedicate what little free time they have to our events) so it looks like we
have some time in June and August.  Any singer/songwriters out there who would like to
schedule a show in the San Diego area, please contact us.

June 15 marks the beginning of voting to determine this year’s nominees for the Margarita Mafia Trop Rock Awards.  We
West Coasters are at a disadvantage in this process because of the lack of West Coast Margarita Mafia Members.  If you
are not a member of Margarita Mafia, go to www.margaritamafia.com and join now.  You must be a member to have a voice
in this process.  Once you are a member, we need your help in nominating Rob Mehl, one of the best songwriters ever, in
the following categories:
     Best Male Performer  -  Rob Mehl
     “Out of the Blue”  -  CD of the Year
     “Key Lime Limbo”  -  Song of the Year
Once we get Rob nominated, we will have to repeat the process to vote for him to win in those same 3 categories (or
however many of them he gets nominated in).  The Awards will be presented during MOTM in Key West at the beginning of
November.  If there is anyone out there unfamiliar with Rob and his music, go to www.robmehl.com and check him out. 
You’ll see that he is very talented and deserving of all the honors that may come his way.
