The Aries Angels

Karen, Patti, Cheri

We are three friends.  Two of us (Cheri & Karen) live in San Diego, CA, and

the third (Patti) lives in Jacksonville, FL.  We were brought together by a

mutual friend, singer/songwriter Gary Seiler, who thought we had a lot of

interests in common.  Cheri & Karen, living only a few miles apart, became

fast friends and began near constant email communications with Patti. 

During one of these conversations, we decided we needed a name so we

brought in Patti’s husband, Gary (not the same Gary).  Oddly enough, we are

all Aries so that was easy.  Angels?  Not really - but we do like to help in a lot

of things where we are able.  Gary volunteered to help us with a logo.  He

started with a traditional angel and went through a number of revisions as we

tried to tie it to our personalities and interests:  the palm frond wings are

because we all love TropRock music; the halo is crooked because we have a

hard time holding it up - those devil horns take over from time to time; the lei

pays homage to our tropical hearts; the margarita - well, that probably doesn’t

need any explanation (though Patti prefers to engage in pina colada

Where Are We Going From Here?

After many years of hosting house concerts, providing support and marketing materials and finding places for our favorite

singer/songwriters to play, Cheri and I have decided it is time to take things to the next level!  This is kind of exciting and we

are hoping beyond hope that our new venture is successful and allows us to live that adage - “Do what you love and you’ll

never work a day in your life”. We are currently building a nation-wide data base of people willing to host house concerts,

clubs, bars, wineries, etc. who will hire Trop Rock musicians for their entertainment needs and plotting routes that make

sense. It will enable us to plan tours of any length in any part of the country.  If you’re a singer/songwriter of Trop Rock music
